In that challenging landscape—where survival seemed the only possible horizon and viable projects were scarce—we chose to commit to publishing as a means of sustaining and disseminating the country's cultural output. Like us, many small publishers undertook this task with more passion than resources, building bridges between ideas and society. Over time, our project grew alongside the changes in Argentina, strengthening both our publishing house and the cultural sector. We developed various series led by renowned intellectuals and authors. Notable among them are *Pensamiento del Brasil en Español* (Brazilian Thought in Spanish), directed by Rita Segato; the *Biblioteca Guillermo O’Donnell*; *Pasados presentes* (Past Presents), directed by Débora D’Antonio; *La cultura popular* (Popular Culture), led by Pablo Alabarces; *Historias mínimas* (Brief Histories), co-published with El Colegio de México; *Historia Argentina* (Argentine History), directed by Raúl Fradkin; and *Estudios sobre genocidio* (Studies on Genocide), coordinated by Daniel Feierstein. These are complemented by new initiatives such as *Umbrales* and the *Biblioteca Emmanuel Taub*.
